Graham very kindly posted about x_Tech yesterday….

and a few of you said nice things about him in the replies.

I just thanked you back there, even though the comments weren’t directed at me, and I was posting after today’s strip was already up.

 

I hope you’ll forgive me if I say a bit more about him…

I’m still lost in a fog without him, which I was having trouble admitting at first, because we kept it all so quiet for so long…

and I’m still trying to come to terms with it.

I really appreciate your tolerance… because I don’t comment much here…

but I know he had friends here, and it comforts me.

 

So just to reply to a couple of posts from yesterday….

Happy x3 mentioned that X always seemed to appear when a question was asked…

He read over 140 strips…. not all their forums, of course, but a lot of them.

And every now and then I’d call or text him cos someone was asking a question, too.

 

But he really did seem to have a sixth sense, didn’t he?

And, unlike most people, he was always willing to stop and help.

 

As for him being at the Ballard Street birthday parties…

he helped create them.

We could still post pictures and links, and he taught us technical details, figured out formatting….

even made animated cards.

 

He surprised me with amazing stuff for my birthday there in 2013…

including a “newspaper”, posted as several images, for which he collected actual quotes from other commenters.

I think it was my best party ever.

But it’s hard to show you, cos GoComics has since removed the pictures, links, and formatting….

(and several people, besides.)

 

He was indeed brilliant, one of the funniest people I know, and certainly the kindest, and least complaining.

So thank you, everybody here…. including Graham, of course, if you see this.

I’m sorry to hear about x-Tech, may all our rainbow pets comfort him in heaven.
