July 10 is:

National Pina Colada Day. Isn’t that a pineapple coconut blend? Well, I love pineapple but hate coconut, so that’s not for me (especially if it has alcohol in it since I don’t drink alcohol).

National Clerihew Day. I had to google that one. Seems to me that anything we have to google to find out what it is doesn’t deserve it’s own day. But a Clerihew is a poem. According to google it is “a whimsical four-line biographical poem. The first line is the name of the subject – usually a famous person, put in an absurd light or revealing something unknown about them.” I read a sample poem and came up with one of my own. Okay, everyone see what you can come up with – either with your name or someone else’s name. But let’s not get political here – that gets people’s dander up.
