My FitBit died. Tech tried CPR, but couldn’t get it to “find” me. I guess 7 years is old in FitBitdom. Time to upgrade. I liked the old one cause it was slim and not very noticeable. And it tracked sleep and steps, I don’t need bells and whistles. Or a heart rate monitor. I know me and I would soon be obsessed with my heart beats!
Be a Millionaire Day. FAT CHANCE of that happening to any of us, right?
National Pick Strawberries Day. Not here in Wisconsin! I have quite a few flowers on my strawberry plants, but it takes a while to get from blossom to ripe berry.
National Quiche Lorraine Day
National Juice Slush Day. That sounds good. It might be just the thing after I work in my garden. Time to start planting!
Emergency Medical Services for Children Day. I understand this is also EMS Week.
One day of vacation down – 4 to go. Day one was gray & gloomy and it only got up to 59°, but I still got outside a while to do yard work. When I went inside to wash my hands, I felt a sort of stabbing pain in my arm like something poked me. I couldn’t find what it was until I peeled off my sweatshirt and I saw a wasp on my shirt. It was on the outside, so it stung me through the shirt. I threw my shirt on the floor and stomped on the wasp. There’s a wasp that will never sting anyone ever again! The sting only hurt for a couple minutes, then the pain was gone. I went back outside and read a book for a while, then back in the house to watch TV and rest. I plan busier days ahead as I start planting my garden & mowing my yard and just enjoying outdoors as our temperatures are supposed to get into the 70"s the next few days.

As a diabetic, I am susceptible to diseases and complications even though my blood sugar is under control and I need no medication. Last year I got oral thrush, a type of fungus that creeps up on you. It put me in the hospital because the medication was off the market, probably for the same reason why insulin can cost $800 to keep you alive (because Big Pharma wants it that way.)
For the last 5 weeks I have had problems with my lower lip. Two different doctors said it was cold sores ($200 in copays and medicine) and no improvement. When my dentist resumed seeing patients, I went to him to get my crown put on from March ($188 more) and got a referral to a gum specialist. It took the specialist 5 minutes to say it was a form a thrush and prescribe Nystatin, which thankfully is available again. I’m already feeling better this morning!
Good one, Annie! It seems that Chesney is bad news, no matter what mood he’s in. On another note, saw three rabbits, a sparrow, and a robin while out walking today. I also heard some geese.

So, Chesney, you are morphing from your crabby, demanding new self back to your usual crabby, demanding, old self. I second Annie’s question.
