Here on the Suncoast of FL temperatures in the low 60s with a dew point in the lower 50s. Certainly not sweater weather yet but a welcome relief from muggy lows in the mid to upper 70s and dew points nearly as high.
…I grew up in a 2 storey house with mom, dad and 8 siblings. Money was of course very tight, so heat was set low and not allowed to be touched. We never had enough blankets or pillows (used to put our parkas on our beds as extra blankets.) Quite often you would wake up in the middle of the night sooo cold, and you’d jump out of bed and search for a heating vent. The floor vent in the downstairs bathroom was prized! And on those nights, you were sometimes out of luck – most of the vents were taken by other siblings.

Oh there is almost nothing as wonderful as a radiator or furnace vent unless it is an electric blanket.

Noticed my two are quite aware of where the floor vents are, lol.

In inland SoCal, the heating vents don’t get much use. They do have plenty of sun to soak up. They also love the catio.

Very dehydrating. Get an electrically-heated 4-watt cat bed.

Angel slept on the one by my chair today. It was, in her defense, in the 40s outside and 68 inside.

My house has ceiling vents. The cats would have to levitate to enjoy them.

Turned on my heat for the first time on Monday. A rather unpleasant reminder of the temps to come …
