For those who didn’t see, the e-mail @StelBel posted Monday, here, here, and perhaps elsewhere, @DAZZ has passed away. She was a frequent contributor to this strip, especially in its early months, and, among other things, an amateur artist. In December, 2011, she left a comment about her 6′ × 4′ (tribute to) Picasso painting, and @Number Six replied:
Less tell and more show. Please?to which she replied that she didn’t know how to post images at GoComics; but, had some at FB and Webshots. If you look at the @DAZZ link (not sure how long GoComics keeps it around), she learned how.Anyway, around 6 weeks later, she decided to use the Picasso as her avatar for awhile, and that gave me an image to look for. So, I posted its full size image here, that I had found at Webshots; but, unfortunately, awhile back, Webshots decided to delete all such images, and all my links there no longer work.I was going to post it here again; but, I don’t do FB. So, if anyone does, or knows where to find that image, please post it.In lieu of that, here is an image I found of her, doing a couple other things she had a passion for (at least according to her comments; click for its webpage):It was one of her comments that told me I had been quarantined (only I could read my comments) by GoComics, back in February, 2012. Without that, I might have never known (which may have been a blessing to some of you). So, from that time on, her comments meant a bit more to me than comments by others (anyone who’s been quarantined will understand why). I’m going to miss that.R.I.P., DAZZ
