has the prior work (2 other prior works by him were repeated as a Classic in August, 2017).
Again, a larger strip image is shown by clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #1788 (September 24, 2017) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment; so, I won’t point to it here.
I loved this comic but politics , whether I’m pro or con , goes away . Sorry . Comics are for relief .. Don’t comment I won’t be checking on responses .
The fact that most of the fans were either taking pictures on their cell phones, tweeting to someone, or just reading their mail throughout the National Anthem is OK, of course. But hey only non-whites disrespect their country by not standing “respectfully.” All the veterans I know fought either for the right to self-expression (you know that Constitution thing) or because some white guy drafted them.
I was wounded twice in Vietnam, broke my back when my medevac chopper was shot down, decorated three times. Kneel if you want. I was fighting for your freedom of expression. Without free speech, we have no democracy!
Kneeling when the flag protocol calls for standing with hand over heart is disrespectful.Further, if all of these nay sayers are correct then why was Tim Tebow vilified for kneeling to say a short prayer of thanks after a score?
