mom: yugh! i don't feel like taking down all the christmas decoration! dad: i'll take care of it!
It’s a lot more fun to put up decorations than to take them down. As of 1/18, my tree is still standing in the corner and the Merry Christmas sign is still above the entry door.
I knew of someone who didn’t have a place to put their tree away so they left it up all year. It was decorated with hearts in February, shamrocks in March, eggs for Easter, etc.
At the next house they lived in they had a closet made for the tree. The tree was on rollers and they just rolled the tree into the closet after the holidays and rolled it out the next time they needed it. All they had to do was plug it in.
Wish I had room to do that.
