Witchiepoo from “H.R. Pufnstuf” is way before my time (36 years), isn’t it?

Ahhh Sid and Marty…. their shows were acid trips brought to life… H R Pufnstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Bugaloos, Lidsville, all the way to Land of the Lost, Electrawoman and Dynagirl… and my personal favorite, Wonderbug. They also had a hand in the Banana Splits and several other shows…. great memories of my childhood and the 70’s in general. Since several have mentioned ages here…. I’m 50 and am having Saturday morning flashbacks… oh to once again have the days when Saturdays were usually the only time cartoons were on and when either Soul Train or American Bandstand came on, you knew they were done until the next week. Time to go outside and play!!!!!!!!!! Although… if you got up early enough on Sunday morning, you could possibly be lucky enough to catch Davey and Goliath. Definitely NOT a Sid and Marty production ;)

Do any of you remember the Paul Lynde Halloween special with KISS, the Witch of the West and Witchiepoo?

“Pufnstuf”? Sounds like a smoke shop.

Ah yes, the greatest kids show ever written while on acid. (LSD for those of you who aren’t groovy)
