I say let the kid watch it! My dad was never very sencored about what I watched, my mom didnt like it but getting to watch r rated movies in elementary school made me feel super cool. The only thing he still wont ket me watch is South Park. The man who showed me Pulp Fiction at 13. PULP FICTION! THE MOST INNAPROPRIATE MOVIE EVER! At 13 but I still cant watch south park at 15. Rude. 3 more years and then he cant stop me.
Super Heroes are varied but the movies’ themes all are always good vs evil where evil ultimately loses. A good model for all but especially our youth who thrive on these movies. They should never be R rated content…..
I enjoyed the directors cut of Justice League. Don’t think of it as a 4-hour movie. It’s broken up into chapters, and I treated each one as an episode. There are seven or eight, like many modern TV series. It took me a couple of weeks to watch it, and I liked it.

An R rating to me means that the story is too poor to be told without gratuitous sex or violence (gore) or language. Usually all three.

We went to a drive in to see Little Shop of Horrors and Rocky Horror expecting my 10-year old to fall asleep by the time Rocky Horror started. Nope!
