I almost pulled this on a little cousin of mine, this Christmas. among the nice assortment of Matchbox and Hot Wheels, I almost added a Hot Wheels error car that had wrong colored wheels. he’s too young to understand that he could never open it.
An acquaintance’s wife bought huge numbers of beanie babies when they were the hot thing. Beanie Baby is still around, but are worth about five dollars each. New. Her husband has given away numerous garbage bags full of beanie babies. They must have lost a ton of money on it.

Toys are for playing. “Collectors items” are for adults who think they will make money on junk that sits around in boxes. Give the baby a real toy.
