In one C&H strip, Calvin was so gun-ho over having spotted the first robin of spring that he’d want to be in the newspaper, but his parent’s didn’t give a darn… Hobbes, on the other hand, said he saw a robin yesterday that if that would cheer Calvin up.

Canadians! I knew it. Robins are year round in the US now.

Cartoonist deadline problems? This seems to be a low-quality fax that bypassed the colorist.

58, Lots of firsts for Chevy, they introduced the Impala, 348, TurboGlide, “X” frame – 14" tires, Split drive shaft with the carrier bearing, and yes, dual headlights.

I start counting robins on the first day of Spring. It takes 100 robins to make it Spring. Not really, of course….just a fun game.

I saw this comic in black in white in the newspaper and came here to see it colorized. A little disappointed the Chevy is blue and not the reddish bronze that was so popular back in the day.

Where I live, robins start showing up in January.
