Brutus Thornapple never heard of Cecil Rhodes. Did he ever hear of Rhodesia (NOW Zimbabwe)? He obviously never earned a Rhodes scholarship. Once, in Readers Digest, I read a short, funny story about a guy who could quickly fold up road maps when others around him couldn’t figure out what to fold in what order. He said he learned how to fold big pieces like that while working at McDonald’s.
