I still have very fond memories of those lazy nostalgic late evenings at our old local drive in theater. I Remember getting the speaker off the post and hanging it on the inside of the car window and turning the knob to get the volume just right. Sadly they are all gone now and only a very few are still in existence. I recall one winter where they would rent you a small gas heater to set in your car to stay warmwhile you watched the movie.. I don’t know the reason they didn’t carbon monoxide you, but it worked great at the time they had them.
