We always had chocolate for my sister’s birthday. I’ll take anything but. I think strawberry was my favorite though.

He got to eat cake 4 times? That sounds like the Born Winner, not the Born Loser! The Born Loser shows up for the celebration after all the cake is gone.

My favourites are Victoria Sponge Sandwich with Royal Icing… or Rich Genoa fruit cake with marzipan…

Mom would always make our favorite foods for our birthdays. Mine was chocolate cake with chocolate icing. …for some reason the rest of my family thought that was excessive.

Before I retired three of us in the engineering department shared the same birthday, and there were another two in the following days. We’d work it out so there were treats every day. I often made whoopie pies, with vanilla, mint, or chocolate fillings. The individual hand-held cakes were great for the office.

Put his in the fridge or the freezer, unless you think it could be wasted.
