The final animated TV special was much the same: A whole half-hour of the gang waving goodbye to all their viewers, just like the closing credits of an old Beverly Hillbillies episode. The background music by Vince Guaraldi could only go so far to salvage the show.

…because we all know there is only a finite amount of space on the internet.

If you want to get technical, the Internet is finite. It’s very, very, very large, but it’s not infinite. Someday we could run out.

Also, someday the Sun will die and mankind will go extinct and the strip will end, probably in that order.

Ah-ha! You discovered Scully’s secret! Each TCSTHAFED takes up several terabytes of data! Because of that you WON’T be getting a new cartoon with a catchphrase-spouting marmoset!
