The chefs are Hansel and Gretel.

Hey, they’re having dinner out, in a fancy restaurant…Sure, bread isn’t good for them all the time…but when you go out, you like a treat.

And pumpernickel is just whole rye, or a heavy, dense rye bread…with a fancy name, suitable for the occasion.

Then again, anthropomorphic ducks who wear glasses… who can read, hold up menus, sit in chairs, and prefer nice restaurants with tablecloths…ducks with sufficient income to enjoy this experience….those ducks probably, (now, I admit, this is just a guess) … just probably, don’t go outside and forage for worms.

In re yesterday… and Dogsniff…

A quick thank you to FinnyGirl…. nice letter!And Mabrndt… seems to me it’s been a year or so since they took away the bio and recent comments on the profiles of people who have been “banned.”

There are several posters who have been banned more than once … some even three times…. and allowed back… some have even been told when they could expect to return.

I’ve seen some use language that got others banned, so it must depend on its being flagged and brought to the attention of the mods.

Yet a couple of people who made nasty remarks to or about other posters have been flagged repeatedly, unless everyone is lying …. and yet they’re still on the site.I don’t use even common “bad” language with symbols, like *’s or |’s to replace letters, because one person was told that was part of what got her kicked out.

Some people seem to be able to come back, under a different name, or have duplicate identities all along…while others can’t log in from the same IP address.

It all seems arbitrary.But as I’ve said…they pay the rent and we can’t fight that.

We can just write… politely, please, to moderator@GoComics.com

and hope they’ll reconsider, and let Dogsniff come home.Sometimes they listen.

Never hear this…though when I think of any turkey I’ve eaten, it’s always dead and has bread inside…so I guess this makes sense. :)

Try feeding meal worms. You can get them at the pet store or wherever fish bait is sold. (And they wriggle)
