    In the comic world, most of the profanity is coming from the children.

    Grawlix.

    And I dunno, Dad…these days it could be ☆☁∰⅏☔ !!

    You might have to ask the kids what it means.

    When you live in the comic section, do you ever get the feeling you are being watched?

    Are there emoticons also which aren’t PG-13?

    It’s HASHMARK. Or number sign, or pound sign, or octothorpe. This is one of my largest pet peeves.

    @kapos

    One might ask why all of the other optional names for one of your largest pet peeves – none of which you had a hand in creating – might otherwise be acceptable to you. Sheesh.

    I’m pretty sure that another one of your largest pet peeves is probably when people say “dot” for the little circular black thingy placed between a domain name and the trailing “com,” “net,” “gov,” and the like. Clearly that can only be a “PERIOD” in your vernacular.

    To update the outrage of the grouchy old man that you seem harbor, “Hey you social media types! Get offa my interwebs!”
