There is no pleasure greater than a walk in Summer rain. No umbrella, just let it fall and kick puddles as you go. Sort of like treating them as you would your troubles.
Hi thebird55. You must be pscychic knowing how old I must be, or thereabouts. OK, yes, I saw ‘Singin’ In The Rain’ when it first came out. But no, that is not what I meant, I am talking about the pleasures of walking in Summer rain with your soulmate, with no umbrella and letting it be like troubles that, in the final analysis, will not chill or worry you. Therefore there is no need of your umbrella of fears as you share life.
I’ve had the right person beside me for just over 25 years. She’s phenomenal to have put put up with me.
That Singin’ In The Rain clip must surely be the most unforgettable in all the great American musicals. Most fortunate all the Metro Golwyn Mayer ones now belong to Turner Classic Movies and appear on Pay TV.

Well little Rory, I love you bunches, but another drawback is the smell of a wet sheep!

If you go around without undies, it’s uncomfortable for everyone else.

Hi Dry, Yeah, seems so.
Wish someone would compose some music called ‘A Walk In Summer Rain’.

I kind of figured you meant something like that, but that clip popped into my head and I just had to post it.
I know what you are saying. The metaphorical rains of life can be embraced and even enjoyed, with the right person beside you.

thebird55. Exactly.
