While I’m sure sheep eat some “weeds”, like dandelion, I doubt they’d like thistle! Only Eeore eats thistle…
(And in case you were wondering, no, herbicides do NOT damage the ozone layer! It’s amazing how many things have falsely been accused of somehow damaging the ozone layer!!)
Most weeds are as nutritious as grass. Plantain, dandelions and many other plants we call weeds are routinely included in English pasture mixes. As far as Weed ’n Feed is concerned, clover is a weed.
@Lewreader- We lose a bigger percentage of our crops to pests than before we started spraying neurotoxins and endocrine disrupters on them. Only the chemical companies benefit. How many millions have cancer because of these chemicals? Hard to tell, the American Cancer Society board of directors is packed with representatives of Big Pharma and the chemical industry.
