It’s getting late cause I just had a brain “f__t” while staring at the last word thinking it was the city, Salinas (centeral Calif) and I just couldn’t get the connection. Then I got it when I looked a 2nd time at the stove pipe sticking out of the snow. Similar thing happened to Robert Redford in his movie Jeramiah Johnson. That was also funny. Thx, Ralph H, love the strip & I always get a chuckle.

I love a good kylpy. One does not “take a sauna” or “go in for a sauna”; the sauna is the building or room that is heated; the heat bath itself is called kylpy.

After a sauna it does take a while to feel cool again, and conversely, after frostbite it does take a while to feel warm again. But having a choice I’ll have the sauna.

Hot, hot hot, but I thought steamy scenes were forbidden in comics?

Like Barry, I, too, thought it said SALINAS and thought of the Calif town. I had to read the comments about SAUNAS, then re-read the post from Barry. I finally got it. I guess the font was the culprit.

@runarThe Finnish word “kylpy” is actually “bath”, the heat/steam bath you get in sauna when throwing water on the rocks is called “löyly”.
