“There was a young man from Nantucket. . . .”

Use your fingers and rotate the cob

on some butter, a generous glob

Eat across or around,

But one thing that I’ve found,

Corn is best when you eat like a slob

A wonderful bird is the Pelican.

His beak can hold more than his belly can.

He can hold in his beak

Enough food for a week!

But I’ll be darned if I know how the hellican?

A forgetful old gasman named Dieter,

Who went poking around his gas heater,Touched a leak with his light;He blew out of sight—And, as everyone who knows anything about poetry can tell you, he also ruined the meter.

One Saturday morning at three

A cheesemonger’s shop in Paree

Collapsed to the ground

With a thunderous soundLeaving only a pile of de brie.

There once was a man from Nantucket

Who kept all his cash in a bucketHis daughter, named Nan

Ran away with a man

And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

There’s no reason to do that.

be was hopin for some lovin ……. but ended up in the oven

To Stan, it makes no sense, like a lot of rhymes….pay no attention to the sheep behind the desk…

Gotta follow your moos.

There once was a young sheep named Rory,

who decided to write a cute story.

But once he began, (not according to plan),

it ended by being too gory…

Poor Stan.

I hope Sheepy doesn’t pick up any of these bad habits! :)

It’ll take a lot more than one pan!
