Back in HS, I worked as an usher in a movie studio. I had to wear a black bow tie with white shirt and black skirt. Oh, and for 6 months I worked as a manager at Wendy’s…complete with navy bow tie to close the button-down shirt. Ugh. Of course, it was better than showing cleavage to the customers. But still hated it.
When I was a productive member of society, Megacorp went to casual attire in the late 90s. That was a good change, a polo shirt was a lot more comfortable that dress shirt and tie.

Those are ties. Though I am sure that them being a noose or leash collar came to mind more than once.

20 years ago when I started stocking groceries a white dress shirt and tie were part of the uniform
We were allowed to take off the tie while the store was closed for night stocking, but had to have it on when the store opened

Cats, music, art. I wouldn’t leave the house either.

Go Bollo Lennie. Design a slide with an inlaid Ginger. Perhaps in a stylized whole.

You might have been isolating so long you might not realize the tie has become a sign of a snarky youthful irony.

Ties are for weddings and funerals. And politicians.
