There are entirely too many verbs these days. Uh... Which ones would you get rid of? Texting, video gaming, telemarketing, anything that can be replaced with wasting time.
It has been noted at work with our use of acronyms – we change them .. into verbs, adjectives and nouns. You try not to use them – but … saying all those words instead of 3 or 4 letters… hard.
BTW – our Teacher’s strike is over. Today is the first day of school. After 3 weeks. Now the question is the legislation requires a certain number of hours of instruction for the students. And we have already heard muttering of “well I’m not going to work overtime or extra days without pay.”So glad I have no kids in school.

To a retiree anything but working is a waste of time; just ask him how hard he worked for a living.

Plenty of adverbs and nouns the media misuse to the point of being useless also. May as well get rid of them.

This is a recommendation to Greg’s other strip. It is much better, however, I still enjoy the buckets.
