Reminds me of the vacation we took when the girls were 10 and 13. We were in the mountains and I was looking out the window at the fantastic landscape and exclaiming about some of the beautiful trees. I would say “Look at that tree!” and the girls would reply “Wow” or “OOO” I finally glanced back at them and they both had their heads down and reading books…. sigh I don’t know how long we went along before I noticed their inattention. LOL!
