Seriously?? You ever thought anyone was going to care about Hootie and the Blowfish?I’m from your generation, but I had a premonition….

You did, Larry. But the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Classical music, kids. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, ……… You know they’re great for a reason. There has always been popular music, and it’s fine. But only the (classical) greats have staying power.

I haven’t thought of the Crash Test Dummies in quite a while. It is time to revisit the music of my youth.

I love a lot of the music my parents loved, but not much recent stuff grabs me. One relatively new group I do like is Airbourne.

So he names 3 of the most overrated bands of the era…

It took me until I had internet to figure out what a “bog” and a “Whimpy Bar” were.

We can’t help it if we’ve never heard of this and that.

Well, at least we tried!

Funniest blog entry I ever read was surely written by a young teen: “Do you think people will listen to Eminem 200 years from now, like Mozart?”

The only band of the three I ever heard of was Hootie and the Blowfish, and I’m in my late fifties. Never did want much entertainment.

Gee I love Jazz, Blues, HATE COUNTRY, but I also love the music from my youth, including the Bee Gees, UTUBE, White Snake, Hootie, and later, Crash Test, etc. So many too many to name, I guess I just like all kinds of music, I am 61 and I LOVE MAROON FIVE, COLDPLAY, and a few others of today.

I’ve only heard of Nirvana. Hootie and the Blowfish sounds only vaguely familiar.
