with today’s technology i googled it, and growing up in RI we were kicked off the school buses when we reached 5th grade so until 8th grade we walked 1.6 miles (one way) yes, through rain, sleet, snow, and wind…if we were lucky one of our parents might be able to drive us to school- for high school we had to take city buses

he could have moved to the other side of the pasture…just to be a smidgen closer to the school…you never know…
