It’s always better to regret something you did than to regret something you didn’t do.
I might disagree with barticle’s “always.” There are a couple of things I’ve done that I regret – and wouldn’t mind never having done them.
I do regret some of the things I did and that I didn’t do. But most of all, I regret some of the things I said and that I didn’t say.
I regret nothing except being a Red Sox fan.
Ah, guilty pleasure.

Well, I don’t regret the honeymoons, but I sure regret the marriages….
