Hee hee hee. I have family that live next to Vince Gill and Amy grant. One time they were throwing a birthday party for their daughter & Niece (as I recall) and they had one of those large blow-up slides. I snuck over to go down the slide one little time. I figured I would be down and back in my family’s yard two, 3 minutes tops.
And I would have been too! Except Amy Grant grabbed my wrist and pulled me into her home for birthday cake!
As soon as the birthday song was finished, I booked it to and down the slide, helping a frightened family member down (a little girl) before FRANTICALLY searching for my shoes and escaping back through the fence, mortified, but at least I got a story out of it I suppose.
My only other story about them is their dog, Snickers, would poo in my family’s yard. One day I had to scoop it up and to be funny I called a friend who was a BIG fan of Amy’s to ‘brag’. lol, she was screaming that I got to scoop that particular…. well, you know how the saying goes.
