When I was a kid, and SC actually had some snow, I’d use an old refrigerator door as a sled. Because it had ridges top to bottom on the front, it mostly slid in a straight line.
When I was an adult, I attended a church that had a steep grassy slope. The kids would get pieces of cardboard and slide, slide, slide. Sometime, I would show them how it was done.
