Time to get fire department to hose that thing out.
I don’t think the fire department (or fire brigade, as I imagine Her Maj would call it) is equipped to handle this sort of thing.
In any case, the important thing right now is to find a scapegoat. In the interests of fair play, Her Maj should focus her energies on finding an American one, preferably one that American pension funds depend heavily on.

This sounds like the time I put the crock pot in the oven to hurry up and finish cooking, and the lid exploded and blew the door off the oven.

I considered having Kevin Costner call her offering to sell her a giant fork, but other punchlines presented themselves.

Prrdh is right. Some of the casserole may be leaking from other nearby kitchens, one of which is abandoned…

Pab, just describing the KC fork was funny enough, and the obvious extensions of the idea even better!

Is Tony Heyward going to show up and screw things up even more? Maybe the “Small People” can eat the casserole.

Aga may be a good idea in chilly Britain, but here it’s expected to be 110º all week. I won’t be baking anything soon.
