Even without a partridge, our cats have always loved parking themselves near the Christmas tree. In fact, they’ll push gifts aside in order to make room to curl up beneath the branches.
No. Tiny was part of a tribe of feral cats that adopted us when we lived in a more rural area than we do right now. Her mother, Pal, decided to give birth on our porch, and Bryan named the three kittens Keyops, Prince, and Tiny. That photo of Tiny was from when she was still a kitten.
One of Tiny’s younger sisters and one of her cousins still live with us, but now inside our current house instead of under the porch and in our woods.
I might also point out that Tiny has appeared in the strip twice before that I can remember: http://www.gocomics.com/thenewadventuresofqueenvictoria/2006/09/03 and http://www.gocomics.com/thenewadventuresofqueenvictoria/2007/07/10
She also makes an appearance in one of the images I did for the LOLCat Bible - http://www.lolcatbible.com/images/thumb/3/39/OHAIMARY.jpg/200px-OHAIMARY.jpg
I have to remind Myself [constantly] this Guy [I’m talking about the Human now] isn’t Oscar Wilde.

LOL – it’s Edward VII as a young’un! Known as “Bertie” at that time.
Yeah, Tiny sort of blends in w/ the dark background in panels 3 & 4.
I have a great Christmas Tree pic of a couple of my kitties but can’t post pics from work, so yinz will have to wait an hour or so! Let’s just say that Nativity figurines are no match for feline energy!
