Well, when Ricky Gervais was on the Daily Show, they did discuss the possibility of Stephen Hawking hosting a talk show. This would be the next best thing!
And for those who like to know the details: Roger Ebert speaks in Lucida Console, Hawking in the font used by the Atari 800 computer, and Captain Pike in “Badaboom” by BlamBot (who in my opinion make the best cartoon and comic fonts).
I believe ALL the actresses from that age remain well preserved in surgical formaldehyde until they reach the Joan Rivers “one cut too far” state, night. And aren’t we all just a bit on the guy nerd side of aged if we can recall any of this. I mean it saw Star Trek when it was first run! I once missed the Dolman episode both in first and rerun and felt bad because I’d never get a chance to see it. Boy,. talk about predicitive failure

If he hadn’t wussed out after the pilot, we’d have never seen the comedic stylings of Jim Kirk.

If we can’t have fun with reality, what’s left? There’s no comedic value in poking fun at “Miss Peach”…

Why wouldn’t they let Capt. Pike keep his imaginary body?

Scott Myers, who writes my favorite non daily comic, also maintains a Capt. Pike site at

Oh, now, Orgelspieler. It’s interesting to know what fonts are being used. And really, it could be worse: Pab could use Comic Sans.
BTW, Pab, excellent strip today! :)

Captain Pike is STILL getting it on with Vina, the sexy, hot, blond alien because he is given the illusion that age does not affect her appearance.

I’d actually love to have all my conversations with PlainTalk if I could.
