Who says it has to be Republicans? If anything, a Democrat would have an easier time getting away with things, because most of the media won’t be as critical.
That’s assuming there ever IS another Republican President.
I could dismiss the dupes at the back of the mob, but those Republican Congressman who continued to question the vote even after the attack disgust this (for now) Republican.
Trump and his radicals destroyed the Republican party. We need to start a new party for middle of the road conservatives. People who believe in helping those who really need it, but also believe in a balanced budget.
Well a lot of things he learned, for instance all of the Executive Orders were a Obama hallmark (that bit the D’s in the but). So the corruption runs deep. To be truthful Trump was an outsider not a member of the same club the current R’s and D’s are part of.
On the plus side, there are a few GOP Senators who most likely won’t ever be running for office again and Parler’s policy’s basically provided a pre-arrest application for any fool who joined. But how telling is it that those in the House who voted for impeachment are now investing in body armor? I’d say that I’m sympathetic, but this vicious hatred and the death threats has been the lot of Dem. legislators who are POC all along. Welcome to your new world order, snowflakes. Nicely done.
Yes, you’re so right, Pabs. It’s those awful Republicans. Shame on them and their shenanigans. If only they’d learn from the party of rainbows and unicorns everything would be better.
But if he were really smart, he wouldn’t be Trump — i.e., he wouldn’t be so unfiltered to connect with his base viscerally. Trump’s appeal was ever emotional, not intellectual, and any “smart” Trump would be too self-conscious to avoid the judgment of other “smart” people.
There won’t be another Republican president. Trump killed the party. We conservatives need to start a new party that doesn’t let the radicals from either side get in control.

Everyone’s worried about a smart Trump.
