I was thinking alon the line,The last page in the book was used for tolit paper and then he would need to find more. How is that for a long one?
The amazing thing is that the editor read the manuscript at all, let alone to the end.
Back in those days, the requirement was for one side only, double spaced, one-inch margins all around, five space indents, and you pay postage both ways if you want it back to try elsewhere. Nothing could waste paper more.
Every author dreads getting a letter like this from an editor.
