I lived in VT for 20 years near our family dairy farm. What was a quiet road would become a dangerous one when the leaf peepers came around. Sometimes they would just stop their car in the middle of the road for no obvious reason, but I do agree with Sleepy2 that it helped the locals boost their economy.

Amazing! Two hours and no one commented that the word modifying “play” should be the adverb “nicely”. It was quoting the cliché, but still…
