Yes, it’s a comic, but it depicts a situation that some find worrisome, myself included. I saw this happen a few months ago, woman tied her dog up to a pole on the sidewalk, went in a store for about 15 minutes. Personally, I would never put my beloved animal friends in such a position and leave them at the mercy of some nut-job, thief or someone with an aggressive dog that may attack them, etc.
