    I love these kind of explanations. This once’s just as good as the Garfield strip that explained why cats hate to get wet – who’d want to dry himself with a tongue-sized towel?

    They stomp down the grass first. They roll in anything, but they are more particular about where they sleep.

    route66paulThey roll in something to hide their scent. They may want to dream of the chase, but they know they don’t actually do it while asleep. They will roll in grass or dust to remove what they rolled in before even a short nap.
