Our dog is either old or wise – or both. He figured out long ago that he’d never catch a squirrel and he just doesn’t bother. We have foxes that come down and try to grab a squirrel, and I swear I can hear Blazer laughing! “You’ll never catch it, buddy. Go home!”

Ironically, if he was wearing a cone from the vet, it might help protect him from the cones from above…
