Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling The Education of Louis. Louis: "Okay. How are you?" Nah, that's too wishy-washy. I've got to come up with something better. Louis: "Could be worse. How about yourself?" I like it -- it's sort of cool and grown-up. But...I doubt I could pull it off. Louis: "Great!" Well, that makes me sound fun and enthusiastic...but I don't want her to think of me as a puppy. Louis: Maybe I should ignore her question and just ask her something else. Louis: "Pretty good, considering I'm about to spend an hour in Mr. Benson's class." Got it. Louis: Hi, Julia. Julia: Hey, Louis. What's up? Louis: Pretty good, considering...uh...nothing. Um...could be worse. Louis: Damn. She always asked, "How are you?"
