Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling MARVEL at an advanced, sophisticated society beyond your imagination! THE FUTURISTIC WORLD OF 2010 GASP at the unfathomable futuristic challenges that must be faced! In 2010, the biggest problem will not be invading aliens, authoritarian supercomputers, or rebellious talking apes... ...it will be a broken pipe. Oil will gush out endlessly into the sea. The President demands that British Petroleum, now futuristically called "BP", fix the problem, but they can not. Mind-boggling technology and scientific knowledge are stymied by the metal pipe. Scientist: Can we use a map of the entire human genome? Man: If the spill were on a quantum scale, I'd be able to fix it. Man #2: IF the solution were written out in 10,000 volumes of books, it would fit into this tiny device. Robots with diamond-studded blades are sent underwater to cut the pipe... ...but, incredibly, this plan does not succeed. Next Week in THE FUTURISTIC WORLD OF 2010 While a pipe threatens the globe, the U.S. wages an ultra-modern futuristic war against... A bunch of guys who live in caves and fight with knives, rocks and TNT.
The terrorists fight with a lot more sophisticated stuff, as in rockets, homemade explosives, and assault rifles, courtesy of one of the Bushs, to bin laden, who was at that time seen as a hero, to drive out Russian forces.
