And pre-wash the dishes before you load the dishwasher.
On our first week of marriage and living in our own house, she washed and I dried. On the second week, I found a dishwasher in the closeout aisle, bought, and installed it.

Nah, we’re empty nesters. I load the dishwasher all week and run it on Friday. Empty it on Saturday. No dirty dishes in the sink. I’m in love!
