Ugh, remember that period before LED’s. Those energy-saver fluorescent bulbs took forever to give light, or actually never did give good lighting. And not very energy saving indeed, with one spike in spectrum those were so bad for lighting, and were too hot to touch.
But old fashioned light bulbs just used some 6-7 % for light, rest was heat. So those had to go while those had continuous sprectum, but just in the low end of frequency.
Today most bulbs in my home are 4000K LED’s. Rest are 6000K bulbs. I like bright white light.
