When I moved out to the mountains, one of the first things I saw was a man jogging through snow drifts that came up to my waist while he was wearing tiny jogging shorts. When I politely asked him if he had lost his mind, the man informed me that he found it invigorating. He thought it a shame that more people did not routinely frolic in the snow is a state of déshabille.
He seems to be one of those kids who doesn’t mind the cold. Two brothers lived down the road. On a cold day, one would be in his winter coat and the other shirtless.
That’s about the way it is around here anymore: if it snows and you want do something with it, better make it that day cause it will be gone by the next day.
