The raccoon feels the same as Amelia. Actually, being a strange child, I would have loved it.

I would have totally enjoyed that

Amelia, think of used automotive grease as adult ketchup. Then go wild.

Amelia is not a future gear head. Me. I’d be looking for old enough stuff so I could show how to gap plugs and points!

I had a Toyota Corolla that overheated and warped the alloy head… This meant replacing the head-gasket ever 1 – 2 months… My girlfriend watched me resetting the tappets and became even better at resetting them than I ever was… She had that feminine-touch… Jeez I miss her…

Aaaaaaaand a rabid racoon goes for Spud……!

I think the racoon thinks these kids are poaching on his territory. By the way, I learned today that Germans call these animals ‘Washing Bears’. Seems appropriate to me.

Apparently, the seagull decided to pass on the adventure. Perhaps it knew about the raccoon.

If I was a parent, I’d be a little concerned about the “great swamp” part…unless that is a nickname or exaggeration.

If you’ve spent any time hiking or camping in national forests, you’ll know it’s not uncommon to come across ancient abandoned vehicles of one kind or another. It’s actually kind of exciting when you do.
