I hope Wallace didn’t make the lunch himself. I t was probably some grotesque-to-others-delicious-to-him sandwich (like a PBJ — perch, barracuda, jellyfish — or a BLT — barnacle, lobster, and tuna).

For a 3rd grader, that IS being a rebel.

Why is that little blonde girl crying? And her nose is red. She either is sad Wallace might be in trouble, or she has one heck of a cold.

I hope the driver didn’t eat his cookies.

Ah, the dreaded call to the office!!!

Give it up to bus drivers folks! They keep our kids safe, they are friendly and care about their passengers. They go out of their way to make sure our kids are well taken care of.

Take time to thank a school bus driver.

My Algebra II / PASCAL teacher asked the same thing as Amelia once – I was called out on the loudspeaker to troubleshoot the school’s Macintosh that wouldn’t print to the printer. My friend “volunteered” that I also had a Mac at the time which wasn’t too common back then.
