Priorities, Amelia, priorities. Balloon first, people you don’t like, second.

A balloon floating toward the ocean, and getting it down with a slingshot?

Could a standard penny crack a windshield if fired from a good slingshot? How about a side window? Discuss.

This story arc is certainly taking different turns. Last week, they were playing with a ouija board and it seemed to be the start of a Halloween story. One of last week’s strips had Wallace asking the spirits for help finding red glass. This week, he went to the beach with Mom and found the red glass and then saw a balloon. Yesterday’s strip and todays follow on from him seeing the balloon.

Make sure the windows up, a penny to the side of the head would hurt like a moe foe…

I don’t understand why Wallace is alarmed at the thought of the balloon going into the ocean. Would it present a danger to ocean life somehow? (And BTW, I am impressed by Wallace’s ability to rotate his head around backwards.)

Throwing things at cars seemed like great fun until I owned a car..
