So the barrel didn’t break and now they’re lying in rotten apple juice? One on top of the other? This could get old fast!

Debatable on whether or not this is still an improvement…I suppose it depends on what they intend to do next to try and open the darn thing.

At least this way they have a chance to kick the bottom out.

Sploosh! What a lovely sound. Now they are covered in partially fermented goo. AND . . . the barrel didn’t break. Now what? Isn’t there some kind of spell to open a barrel that even a . . . what is he, a third class wizard . . . can do? At least they picked the right direction to push. I can just see them pushing the barrel into the corner for 30 minutes or so: “I can’t figure out why this barrel won’t tip! It starts to go, then it seems like there’s something stopping it!”

Oh, I didn’t realize it still had liquid in it. Man, they’re gonna reek when they get out of there. A strong smell like that can get into one’s skin, not to mention the clothes. (I assume it’s either apple cider vinegar or some apple-based alcohol. I don’t drink, but it seems alcohol can be made out of most anything.)
