His dragon looks so cute curled into a ball on the rug at the Wiz’s feet. Besides his dragon solves the other cat noises in the middle of the night — raccoons and opossums too I’m guessing

My dog cornered a possum in the backyard a few years back (properly spelled “opossum” but that just sounds so weird)I tried poking it with a stick to scare it off, but I forgot possums go into their “playing dead” routine, so it wouldn’t budge. Turns out that’s a purely involuntary reflex, they can’t help themselves.I ended up grabbing it by its tail and placing out in front. I didn’t see it the next day, so I assume it eventually woke up and left for greener, less dog-filled, pastures.

Kid Sister says skunks hate the smell of mothballs; it’s a humane way to chase them away. She “moved” a skunk from under her house with no spraying from Pepe & family.

Poor Henry. No play dates with other pets. No midnight chorus on the back fence.
