We’re “American” from the Arctic to the Antarctic. All “American”, south, central and north! It’s a continental description, not country residential description.

@Avatr, I wear them, I am in my thirties, I am not a “girly-man”, and everyone says I look cool in them.

Crocs make so many styles now that are all just as comfortable as the original. I practically live in mine, and they are not the ugly originals. (and I’m over 60)

Back in 1975 I had some “Earth shoes”..They were comfortable but looked very funny..Left them on a bus once by mistake and never saw them again..Miss those shoes..Dad and mom wouldn’t buy me another pair because of the cost.

They found out what the holes in Crocs are for, by the way… that’s where your dignity leaks out. :)
