Pets get more respect and affection than humans. The total US costs for basic education (not college) in 2019 were ~$189.4 billion. We spent ~$95.7 on pets and ~$93.5 billion on cosmetics. So we spend as much on pets and make up than we do on schools. Love yourself and your pets but your children’s education is far more important.
